Roma striker Pablo Osvaldo will miss the Giallorossi's trip to Catania on Sunday following a training ground injury.
The Italy international limped out of training on Wednesday after a hefty challenge from Nicolas Burdisso.
There were initial fears that the 26-year-old had suffered knee ligament damage, but the club have since confirmed that striker has only suffered serious bruising.
It will however keep him out of the trip to Sicily as Zdenek Zeman's side look for the three points that will take them joint-fourth in the table.
There are also fears for Marquinhos who missed today's session following a fever and also Francesco Totti who spent Friday with the physio after muscle fatigue.
