Genoa chief Enrico Preziosi has silenced suggestions that Mattia Perin is on his way to Milan. “Let’s leave him in peace.”

The 20-year-old goalkeeper is currently on loan at Pescara, but he has been linked with a possible summer move to the Rossoneri.

And, after having dinner with Milan Vice-President Adriano Galliani last night, Preziosi was again asked about the possibility of a Diavolo switch for the Under-21 international.

“We didn’t talk about transfers,” he insisted. “It was just a meal between two friends.

“We can’t possibly sell anyone this month because we need to stay up and we can’t weaken the squad.

“Perin to Milan? The boy now needs to be left in peace so that he can show people what he can do. We’ll have to see what happens in the future.”
