Inter confirmed Galatasaray are waiting for Wesley Sneijder’s response, plus commented on Ezequiel Schelotto, Edin Dzeko, Ricky Alvarez and Philippe Coutinho.

It is known that the Nerazzurri accepted Galatasaray’s offer, which is reportedly €10m, and the Dutch midfielder has been given 24 hours to reply.

“Galatasaray made an interesting proposal, but a transfer is only completed when all three parties have finalised the details,” Inter director of sport Piero Ausilio told Panorama.it.

“I heard the comments from my Turkish colleague. We discussed the matter, but we are still missing the player’s consent to close the deal.”

There are reports Galatasaray have offered improved personal terms including €0.5m per trophy and another €0.5m for reaching the Champions League semi-final, but Sneijder is also demanding a house, a car and paid flights to and from Holland.

Ausilio also mentioned the other January transfer stories surrounding the Nerazzurri.

“We are talking to Atalanta for Schelotto, a player who is certainly of interest to us. Francesco Lodi? No, this is not an opportunity to be taken in January.

“Dzeko? Our attack is complete with the arrival of Tommaso Rocchi.”

Coutinho and Alvarez have repeatedly been linked with January exits towards La Liga or the Premier League.

“We rejected every proposal that we received for these two players.”
