Milan and Parma could positively conclude a January swap deal involving Cristian Zaccardo and Djamel Mesbah.
According to Sky Sport Italia, both clubs are ready to discuss the potential move even if terms have yet to be ironed out.
The Rossoneri are currently pondering the Gialloblu’s request of €2m, plus Mesbah, in order to release their 2006 World Cup winner.
Mesbah, 28, has played in just one Serie A game so far this season after he rejected a summer transfer to Torino.
Fellow full-back Zaccardo, meanwhile, has scored one goal in 13 appearances for Roberto Donadoni’s side in 2012-13. Zaccardo is now 31.
Milan are also being paired with Newcastle full-back Davide Santon.
