Catania's Francesco Lodi has been given a three-match ban after his straight red card in the Elefanti's 0-0 draw with Torino at the weekend.
The 32-year-old was sent off for a slap to Riccardo Meggiorini in just the 13th minute of his team's goalless draw on Saturday and will miss the next three games.
Elsewhere on the peninsula, Cagliari's Andrea Cossu has been handed a two-game suspension after he was dismissed in the Rossoblu's 2-1 loss to Lazio, whilst his teammate Michael Agazzi has been banded for just a single match as he was shown two yellow cards.
Meanwhile, Guarente (Bologna), Berardi (Sampdoria), Juan Jesus (Inter), Pjanic (Roma), Benalouane (Parma), Dainelli (Chievo), Darmian (Torino), Gazzi (Torino), Glik (Torino), Ilicic (Palermo), Immobile (Napoli), Lucarelli (Parma), Masiello (Torino), Morleo (Bologna), Pazzini (Milan), Togni (Pescara), Vives (Torino) have all been given one-match suspensions for an accumulation of yellow cards.
