Berlusconi sticks with El Shaarawy

Stephan El Shaarawy or Edinson Cavani? Milan chief Silvio Berlusconi says he prefers the Diavolo’s striking sensation.

The Napoli ace overtook El Shaarawy at the top of the Serie A scorers’ charts last night with a sublime hat-trick against Roma.

However, speaking to Radio RTL, Berlusconi has this morning kept faith with his 20-year-old Italian international.

“I’m very attached to El Shaarawy,” the former Italian Prime Minister stated on Monday when asked whom he preferred between the two attackers. “So I’ll say him…

“Cavani, though, is a great player and he’ll turn Napoli into protagonists.”

Cavani has 16 Serie A goals so far this term, while the former Genoa and Padova man has netted 14 in the Italian top flight.
