Italian giants Inter have today confirmed the January signing of Lazio captain Tommaso Rocchi.

“F.C. Internazionale welcomes Tommaso Rocchi to the club,” a brief note on their website stated this morning.

“The paperwork relating to the striker's transfer from S.S. Lazio has been delivered to the Lega Serie A offices.

“Rocchi joins Inter on a permanent deal.”

It is understood that the 35-year-old forward, who has only played three Serie A games this season, has signed a short-term agreement until June.
