Roma are happy with Mattia Destro’s performances following his summer arrival, his representative has claimed.
The Italian international was the club’s big summer swoop, but he’s struggled to regularly find the net in his 13 League games so far.
“His impact with Roma has been positive,” Claudio Vigorelli told Tele Radio Stereo after his client’s four goals.
“It is clear that the boy wants to play every game, but he’s always done well when he’s been called into action.
“Roma are content with the investment they have made for a player who, let us not forget, was born in 1991.”
Destro caught the eye last season thanks to 12 League goals for Siena who co-owned him with Genoa.
The former Inter player arrived in a deal that could eventually cost the capital club a transfer fee in the region of €15m.
