Salvatore Aronica is confident that new club Palermo can make amends for their season so far with some good January signings.

The stopper has arrived in Sicily from Napoli and he’s set to be one of just a number of new faces at the Stadio Barbera.

“We are not going through a very good moment,” he told Sky Sport Italia with the Rosanero currently in the relegation zone.

“Our League position is not good, but the club are working hard in the market to make the necessary adjustments.

“I also see a lot of enthusiasm from the squad in training and that is needed to make the best possible start to the New Year.”

The Rosanero, now bossed by Gian Piero Gasperini, are away at Parma when Serie A resumes this weekend.
