Napoli are pondering a bid for Udinese’s Pablo Armero as a replacement for the Palermo-bound Andrea Dossena.
The latter is said to be close to a January switch to the Rosanero given his lack of playing time at the Stadio San Paolo this term.
Armero, a 26-year-old left-sided player, is liked by Napoli boss Walter Mazzarri and a loan offer, with an option to buy, is being formulated.
The Colombian international, signed by the Stadio Friuli outfit in 2010 from Palmeiras, has made 10 Serie A appearances so far this season.
Armero has also been paired with Fiorentina, Milan and Juventus.
