Malaga winger Diego Buonanotte is on the verge of joining Palermo, according to reports in the Italian Press.

Calcio News believe the Argentine wide-man is in Siciliy to discuss the terms of his arrival, with an announcement of his signing due shortly.

The 24-year-old joined the Andalusian side in 2011 from River Platerm but has only been a bit-part player for the Spanish side, playing just six League games so far this season.

The terms of the deal are unconfirmed, but a fee in the region of €3m is likely to be enough to capture the diminutive midfielder.
