Palermo sporting director Pietro Lo Monaco has agreed with comments made by Michel Platini and hit out at third-party ownership in football.
The UEFA President has claimed that the idea of players being owned by an outside investor should be banned.
And the 58-year-old Rosanero transfer wizard has taken sides with the former Juventus midfielder.
“On third-party ownership, Platini is absolutely right,” he told Tuttosport. “It is a depravity of the system.
“There has to be a law that does not allow this, but in South American countries a lot of players are owned by private groups.
“Players have to be owned solely by football clubs.”
