Aronica-Palermo is ‘done deal’

Palermo have announced that Salvatore Aronica will, in all likelihood, join them from Napoli in January.

The 34-year-old will move for a nominal fee given that his contract at the Stadio San Paolo will expire in June 2013.

“I think it’s a done deal,” Rosanero President Maurizio Zamparini told Radio Kiss Kiss on Thursday afternoon.

“We’ll just have to wait for Napoli President Aurelio De Laurentiis to get back from the Maldives to sign the paperwork.”

The veteran centre-back, born in Palermo, has appeared in just five League games so far this season.
