Fiorentina “have practically completed” the deal for Matias Vecino and plan more January signings, confirmed Andrea Della Valle.
It had already been reported that a €2.3m transfer was in the works for the 21-year-old Nacional attacking midfielder, but the original move was delayed months ago by his non-EU status.
“We have practically completed the deal for Vecino and there will be something else important that could arrive in January,” said Viola patron Della Valle this evening.
A new striker is expected mid-season, even though stop-gap solution Luca Toni has proved to be prolific with six goals so far this season.
