Juventus director Pavel Nedved insists that the club have no fear going into today’s Champions League draw.
The Old Lady could potentially be paired with Real Madrid in the last 16, but the former midfielder is ready for anything.
“Nobody scares us,” the Czech noted. “We are Juventus and after winning our group, by beating Chelsea, there is no team that can demoralise us.”
The Champions League is a trophy that Nedved desperately wanted to win as a player, but never got the chance.
He was suspended for the 2003 Champions League Final which Juventus lost to Milan on penalties.
“I’ve told the team that I’ve wanted to caress the Champions League trophy for a long time…”
