Vincenzo Montella has admitted that he is desperate to lift the Coppa Italia trophy with Fiorentina this season.
The Viola face Udinese tomorrow evening for a place in the quarter-finals of the competition, and the 38-year-old has conceded that he will not be taking the match with the Zebrette lightly.
“The Coppa Italia is a competition we care about,” he told a Press conference. “Depending on who you face, if you are a finalist you get a place in Europe, and that's important.
“I am an ambitious Coach I want to win a trophy here.
“Udinese are a formidable team and tactically very good. They have improved a lot from when we faced them in August.”
