President Claudio Lotito is adamant Lazio “attacked for 94 minutes” and fully deserved to beat Inter last night.
Miroslav Klose scored the only goal at the Stadio Olimpico to seal a 1-0 result.
“It was a thoroughly deserved victory, as we had plenty of scoring opportunities,” insisted Lotito.
“Klose also had two great chances before he found the net, then scored a wonderful goal. I saw a great Lazio side who were well set out.
“Inter hit the woodwork twice, but that is part of the game. They were long-range shots and not particularly down to their play.
“You don’t just win games with individual champions, but with a team and character. Lazio attacked for 94 minutes.”
