The Brazilian playmaker is likely to move to Genoa over the winter break, and has commented on his relationship with the club.
“I want to recognize and thank the Lazio fans,” he told journalist Gianluca di Marzio. “Lazio will always remain in my heart.
“The end of my adventure here has been a bad one, but it was inevitable.”
The 32-year-old has been serving an internal suspension since the summer after failing to report to pre-season training.
