Totti: 'Roma are finally united'

Francesco Totti bagged a brace in Roma’s 4-2 victory over Fiorentina and is confident “we’re all pushing in the same direction now.”

The Giallorossi had a stuttering start under Zdenek Zeman and struggled to comprehend his 4-3-3 tactics, but have now won four on the bounce.

“It’s only normal that people criticise when the results don’t come, but now we are doing what the Coach asks and you can see the difference,” declared Totti after his 221st Serie A goal.

“When we win like this, it is Roma’s essence that gets the victory. Now more than ever we are a happy group glad to be playing an always attacking style of football. We’re all pushing in the same direction now.

“This game gives us truly deep feelings of satisfaction. If we carry on with this unity then we can achieve some great things.”
