Sampdoria forward Maxi Lopez has praised Vincenzo Montella, claiming he has a long future ahead of him.
The 28-year-old played under the current Fiorentina boss for one season at Catania and has wished him future success after a remarkable start to the campaign at the Viola.
“He will go a long way in Italy,” he told Radio Les. “Fiorentina are doing well and I want to wish him all the best for the future.”
He also commented on their current relationship after the 38-year-old allowed the Argentine forward to go to Milan on-loan
“It was a technical choice and a way of playing football, that was all.”
