The agent of Modibo Diakite has strongly rejected suggestions that the Lazio man has already agreed to join Inter.
The defender is set to leave the Stadio Olimpico outfit given that his contract expires in June and talks regarding a renewal have stalled.
Lazio chief Claudio Lotito seems convinced that the stopper has already given his word to the Nerazzurri, but Ulisse Savini has dismissed that theory.
“There is absolutely nothing between Diakite and Inter,” he told FC Inter 1908. “There has never been any contact of any kind.
“The links are just market suggestions and nothing more.
“It is obviously pleasing to be paired with Inter and, if it were true, we’d be honoured. However, whoever wants the player has to ask Lazio first.”
The Frenchman has not played so far this season after failing to renew his deal in the Italian capital.
