Walter Gargano admits that it will be ‘weird’ to take on former club Napoli next weekend.
The Uruguayan spent five years at the Stadio San Paolo before his summer loan switch to the Nerazzurri.
“It'll be an emotional match, a strange feeling for me, with all my friends and family there,” the midfielder stated.
“After having spent so many years at Napoli it'll be weird, but nice.”
The Beneamata had gone three games without a win before the 1-0 victory over Palermo at San Siro on Sunday.
“It was important that we won,” the South American explained. “Palermo are a good side and we struggled a little as they sat back.
“But what matters are the three points, we're happy, especially as had we dropped points recently and have fallen further behind the teams above us.”
The Nerazzurri are third in the standings, four points adrift of leaders Juventus and two shy of Napoli.
