Wesley Sneijder told fans “I don’t know what will happen” after the Inter midfielder was linked with Bayern Munich and Fenerbahce.

The Dutchman will not play for the Nerazzurri again until he signs a new contract with a wage cut, but it seems more likely there will be a January sale instead.

“I am happy here, but I don’t know what will happen,” he told fans when leaving today’s training session. He stopped to sign autographs and take photos with supporters at the Appiano Gentile ground.

Meanwhile, the number of clubs seeking Sneijder’s signature have increased after Anzhi declared they were not interested in the player.

Fenerbahce are the latest to join the queue, according to Turkish newspaper Fanatik, but only on loan with option to buy at the end of the season.

A more likely contender is Bayern Munich, who would be willing to pay around €15m for the Dutch creative midfielder.

PSG remain interested along with English options Manchester City and Manchester United.
