The official Juventus website released a statement this evening confirming the latest news from the medical staff.
Caceres felt pain in his left ankle this morning after a sprain during training on Monday and underwent tests which showed a sprain with “a slight distraction of the ankle ligament. His recovery will only be evaluated over the next few days.”
Vidal also stopped during the training session due to muscular fatigue in the thighs.
