Although he insists that he is concentrating on helping his present club stay in Serie A, he’s admitted contact with the Viola.
“Fiorentina have been in touch with my agent to tell him of their interest in me,” the 29-year-old stated. “However, it is still too soon to be discussing such things.
“I’ve been in Verona for three years and the present League table forces me to just concentrate on doing well with my current club.”
Thereau has scored two goals in 13 Serie A games this season. The Frenchman joined the Flying Donkeys from Charleroi in the summer of 2010.
