Cagliari boss Ivo Pulga has admitted he is proud of his team despite their 1-0 loss to Napoli at Stadio Is Arenas.
A late Marek Hamisk goal was enough to give the Partenopei the three points, but the 48-year-old has conceded that the game turned a legitimate penalty shout that was turned down.
“We've been tricked by a bad incident,” he told Sky Sport Italia. “But the performance was very good.
“It was just unfortunate for us today that luck turned its back on my team.
“I have to congratulate the lads on a great performance though. And the fans as well were exceptional.”
