Legendary Milan striker Marco Van Basten has admitted that he is not ready to coach the Rossoneri, but has not ruled it out in the future.
The 48-year-old is currently boss of Heerenveen in the Netherlands, and has conceded that he does not require the necessary experience to manage at San Siro.
“I am not ready yet to coach Milan,” he told Sport Mediaset. “I still need a little more experience before I train in Italy.
“For now I'd prefer to stay in the Netherlands. When I get that experience, maybe then I can change country.”
Current Diavolo boss Massimiliano Allegri has come under constant criticism over the past few months, following the club's disastrous start to the season, with his job being linked with a plethora of other tacticians.
