Claudio Lotito has claimed that Lazio fans were not to blame for the attack on Tottenham fans last night.
A group of Spurs supporters were assaulted at a pub in Rome on Wednesday evening, but the 55-year-old Biancocelesti owner has hit out at reports that the club's ultras were to responsible ahead of their match in the Europa League tonight.
“The Lazio fans have nothing to do with what happened at Camp de Fiori,” he told reporters.
One Tottenham fan was rushed to hospital in the early hours after a stab wound to an artery, whilst others were attacked with knives and iron bars.
