The creative midfielder, who is co-owned by Juventus” data-scaytid=”11″>Juventus, suffered the injury during the 3-0 victory over Palermo on Sunday.

“Saphir Taider underwent surgery to stabilise the fracture of the scaphoid bone in his left wrist today at the Centro di Chirurgia della Mano in Modena,” read a club statement.

“The player will rest for a few days and gradually return to training with the help of a specially-constructed protective cast.”

It was also confirmed that goalkeeper Curci, who limped off during the Palermo game in his first start for three months, is out for another three weeks with a thigh strain.
