Ciro Immobile insists that he has no regrets about joining Genoa after the club fell to the bottom of the Serie A table.
Immobile moved to the Marassi outfit in the summer after a co-ownership deal was agreed with Italian champions Juventus.
However, Genoa have had a torrid start to the campaign and have now lost their last six games in the top flight.
“I have no regrets,” he told Sky Sport Italia after scoring in the 3-1 derby loss to Sampdoria. “This is a great club.
“All I am thinking about is giving my best so we can start climbing up the table.
“We didn’t think that we would be in this position at this stage, but we just have to follow boss Gigi Del Neri.”
The Italian Under-21 international has scored four goals in 13 games this term. The 22-year-old bagged 28 in 37 Serie B ties during a loan spell at Pescara last term.
