Francesco Guidolin hopes to see “the light at the end of the tunnel” for Udinese’s season when facing his former club Parma.

“There are some positive signs, but unfortunately we still have so many players out injured. I have to focus on those at my disposal and hope there are no further setbacks,” said the Coach.

“We have Giovanni Pasquale and Marco Davide Faraoni back in the squad, so I want to see the light at the end of the tunnel.

“This is a game between two teams who have followed more or less the same path. Parma are coming off a strong season and personally I have fond memories of the year I spent there in Serie B.

“We got straight back into the top flight and it wasn’t easy. There are still some players left over from my time at Parma.”

Udinese squad for Parma: Brkic, Padelli, Pawlowski; Angella, Armero, Basta, Berra, Coda, Domizzi, Heurtaux, Pasquale; Allan, Badu, Faraoni, Pereyra, Reinthaller; Barreto, Di Natale, Fabbrini, Maicosuel, Ranegie, Zielinski
