Torino have admitted that a host of clubs are interested in Angelo Ogbonna, but Roma haven’t made them an offer.
The Giallorossi have been paired with the defender in recent years and links have again emerged given that the two clubs meet on Monday night.
“Roma made an enquiry, but they never made us an official offer,” Toro sporting director Gianluca Petrachi told Teleradiostereo.
“Ogbonna is wanted by a lot of teams, but it would be reductive to name them all at this moment in time.
“Strong centre-backs are always requested by many sides.”
Ogbonna could return to the Torino line-up at the Stadio Olimpico on Monday night following injury.
Toro chief Urbano Cairo is believed to value the 24-year-old at around €20m.
