Atalanta are presently refusing to comment on the idea of selling Federico Peluso during the January transfer window.
“I would prefer to not talk about the market right now,” director general Pierpaolo Marino noted. “It’s still too early for that.”
Peluso is again expected to be of interest to a number of clubs up and down the peninsula.
The Italian international was a revelation in Serie A last season and he was targeted by the likes of Napoli, Palermo and Juventus in the summer.
Peluso, however, remained in Bergamo. The 27-year-old has played in seven League games so far this season.
