Diego Milito reveals the “anger” of first half refereeing errors spurred Inter on to their victory at the Juventus Stadium.

The Nerazzurri were trailing 1-0 at the break after Arturo Vidal’s goal was offside in the build-up and Stephan Lichtsteiner avoided a second yellow card, but they ended up winning 3-1 with Milito’s brace.

“It was a very tough game against the reigning champions,” he told Sky Sport Italia.

“We stepped on to the field a little sleepy and immediately went behind, but then we grew and deserved the win.

“We got back out for the second half with so much anger for the offside goal and the Lichtsteiner incident, which helped us put in a fantastic performance.”

Inter are now in second place, just one point adrift of leaders Juventus and on a run of nine consecutive victories in all competition.

“We have to continue along our path, try to make life difficult for Juve and the other opponents, then we’ll see how it goes.”
