Atalanta boss Stefano Colantuono has praised his players after their 1-0 win against Napoli on Wednesday night.

An early strike from Carlos Carmona gave La Dea only their third victory of the season, and the 49-year-old Coach has congratulated his men for condemning Walter Mazzarri's side to their first loss of the campaign.

“We tried to play some good football, and in the first half we were great,” he told Radio Sportiva. “The first 45 minutes were brilliant and we could have doubled our lead late on with Davide Brivio.

“The second half we suffered a bit,” he said. “Our midfield fell as Napoli upped their pace and they certainly controlled the game.

“But I do not agree with Mazzarri when he says that they could have scored six goals. I did not see that.”
