Diamanti has now been deferred to the Disciplinary Commission for ‘insulting referee Andrea De Marco, damaging his reputation and offending the dignity of the entire refereeing profession.’

The player was booked for dissent and will therefore be suspended for tonight’s trip to Juventus.
