UEFA have hit Napoli with a €150,000 fine for failing to adhere to safety regulations and ignoring 'inappropriate fan behaviour'.

The governing body of European football have given the Partenopei the hefty fine following the Europa League match against AIK on September 20, and have also threatened the club with closing Stadio San Paolo for one European fixture.

Walter Mazzarri's side have been given until November 6 to provide 'photographic evidence that the necessary repair work has been carried out', or UEFA will stop Napoli selling tickets for the game against Dnipro Dnipropetrovsk on November 8.

They have until Monday October 29 to appeal the sanctions.
