Siena boss Serse Cosmi has claimed that Saturday's game against Palermo will be a nervous one, as both languish at the foot of the table.

The Robur have started the campaign in excellent fashion, winning  two and drawing two of their first eight games, but due to a -6 points deduction at the beginning of the season still prop up the rest of Serie A.

But the 54-year-old Coach has admitted that the match against Gian Piero Gasperini's men could be an attritional encounter.

“We will both approach the game tomorrow in the right way,” he told a Press conference. “But ourselves and Palermo might play with a little anxiety.

“I trust the team though, and believe they will want to win at all costs.”

He also commented on the recently-appointed Rosanero boss, and the task that faces his team at Stadio Artemio Franchi.

“Gasperini has changed their mentality and style of play,” he said. “With them, the challenge is easy to read but difficult in practice.

“They have the individuals to change any result though.”
