Fiorentina chief Sandro Mencucci has suggested that his club won’t make use of the January transfer window.
There are reports that the club are looking for a new striker, but the Viola official is making no promises.
“We changed a lot of players in the summer, 18 in fact, so we already did a lot before the start of the season,” the CEO stated.
“We’ll evaluate what to do, especially ahead of next season, but we already have some very valid players.
“Luca Toni is doing better than we expected, Mounir El Hamdaoui is returning to form and let us not forget Adem Ljajic.”
Stevan Jovetic, with five, and Toni, thanks to one goal, are the only forwards who have scored for the Viola this season.
