Palermo striker Fabrizio Miccoli is aiming to reach 100 Serie A goals 'as soon as possible' this season.

The veteran forward is currently on 98 League strikes, and is targeting the milestone this weekend, when his side face Torino at Renzo Barbera.

“100 goals would be a great achievement for me,” he told Sky Sport Italia. “I want to try and reach it as soon as possible. It is one of the things I have been looking at since the start of the season.

“I plan to repeat what I did last season and score 15 or 16 goals.”

He also went on to comment on the Rosanero's start to the season, that has seen them take just five points from their first seven games.

“We are all training well and have come off the back of two good results,” he said. “We are happy with the performances, and we have to continue in this vein.”
