Bologna’s Cesare Natali is facing up to six months on the sidelines after picking up an injury in the defeat to Fiorentina.
The defender damaged ligaments in his right knee at the weekend and he’ll need to go under the knife to rectify the issue.
Natali, 33, only joined the Dall’Ara outfit in the summer – for the second time in his career – after his contract at Fiorentina expired.
Reports todays suggest that the centre-back, who has made four appearances this term, will be out of action for between four and six months.
