Chievo striker Sergio Pellissier has been released from hospital after surgery to remove kidney stones.
The 33-year-old hitman was ruled out of Sunday’s match with Palermo after suffering from kidney stones and the condition worsened.
Doctors decided he needed keyhole surgery to remove the painful stones and he was released from the Borgo Roma hospital this afternoon.
Pellissier will have to rest completely for two days before he can resume training.
