Roberto Donadoni’s Parma welcome Fiorentina on Saturday, but Amauri is “not 100 per cent fit.”
The striker missed last week’s game with injury and is back in the squad, but not necessarily ready to start the 17.00 UK time kick-off. Click here for the match preview.
“Amauri is training with the team and available for selection, but cannot be 100 per cent fit yet,” said the Coach.
The Ducali signed free agent Marco Marchionni too, although he is seeking match fitness.
“Marchionni is a little bit behind, as he has only trained individually over the last four or five months. Jonathan Biabiany does not need surgery, so I hope he’ll be back training with the side next week.
“We will face this game with the same spirit as ever, with great determination and eager to prove our worth.
“Fiorentina are doing very well, have confidence and everything is behind them. It’s even more motivating to face a side that is considered one of the revelations of the season so far.”
Parma squad for Fiorentina: Mirante, Pavarini, Bajza; Benalouane, Fideleff, Lucarelli, MacEachen, Paletta, Zaccardo; Acquah, Galloppa, Gobbi, Morrone, Musacci, Ninis, Parolo, Rosi, Valdes; Amauri, Belfodil, Marchionni, Pabon, Palladino, Sansone
