Milan boss Massimiliano Allegri has not been given one game to save his job, the Rossoneri have insisted.

Reports this week have suggested that President Silvio Berlusconi wanted to axe the Coach after the 0-0 draw with Anderlecht.

But Vice-President Adriano Galliani is understood to have convinced him to give Allegri more time, starting with this weekend’s game against Udinese.

“Any Coach in the world would be at risk if he lost 10 games in a row, but that’s not the case here and we don’t want it to happen to us,” Galliani noted.

“The faith that we have in Allegri won’t expire on Sunday in Udine.

“As for Berlusconi, I have known each other for 33 years so there is no possibility of any misunderstanding between us.”

Milan have won one, drawn one and lost two of their first four games of the season.
