Sampdoria midfielder Andrea Poli is out of action for a month after picking up a thigh strain against Pescara.
The Italian international limped off just 23 minutes into Sunday’s 3-2 victory at the Stadio Adriatico.
Samp have now confirmed that Poli has been diagnosed with a muscular lesion to the right thigh.
This type of injury will keep him out of action for approximately four weeks.
