Angelo Ogbonna insists that he isn’t bothered by the constant transfer rumours surrounding him. “I have a contract at Torino.”
The centre-back is one of the most promising defenders in the Italian game. He’s been linked with Milan, Juventus, Fiorentina and Napoli in the past, while Manchester United are believed to have watched him in last night’s 2-0 defeat to Inter.
“I’m not affected by the rumours,” the Italian international told Sky Sport Italia. “Actually, they make me proud even if they are unrealistic.
“If they were realistic then something would have happened…”
City rivals Juventus recently admitted to having an interest in the Euro 2012 squad member, but Ogbonna refused to be drawn into the possibility of joining the Old Lady.
“I’m under contract at Torino until 2016,” he added. “As a result, it makes no sense in talking about Juventus.”
