Premiership giants Manchester United reportedly had scouts at last night’s game between Torino and Inter.

The purpose of their visit was to watch the performances of Torino stopper Angelo Ogbonna and Inter counterpart Andrea Ranocchia.

Both players have been handed international careers by current Italy boss Cesare Prandelli, although the Nerazzurro has been omitted in recent times.

Ogbonna is a player who Toro value at around €20m – a similar figure that Inter had to find to net Ranocchia from Genoa.

Inter won Sunday’s encounter at the Olimpico 2-0 thanks to goals from Diego Milito and Antonio Cassano.

Ogbonna and Ranocchia, Sky Sport Italia’s Man of the Match, actually swapped jerseys at the end of the game.
