Cosmi: 'No fear of Udinese'

Serse Cosmi insists Siena will take on Udinese “with no fear” as they try to fight back from a six-point penalty.

The Tuscans began this season from -6 due to the betting scandal and the actions of former captain Cristiano Doni. Click here for a match preview.

“During the break for international duty we worked a lot on some aspects that had to be improved after the first two games,” said Cosmi.

“The objective is to get a result and to do that it is fundamental that we change attitude. I saw a timorous side in the opening matches.

“We must step on to the field with a clear head so we can do what we practice in training every day.”

If Siena have stuttered with only one draw, they’ve still done better than Udinese’s two consecutive defeats.

“Francesco Guidolin is an experienced and intelligent Coach, so he knows that he has a quality side and is also aware he hasn’t beaten us yet.

“Udinese can win this game, but so can we, so I expect a battle. We must face them with no fear.”
