Torino have suggested that they will allow Angelo Ogbonna to join a big club at the end of the season if they are made the right sort of offer.

The defender is widely viewed as one of the most promising in the land and he was included in Cesare Prandelli’s Euro 2012 squad despite playing in Serie B last term.

Toro opted against selling him this summer on their return to the top flight, but they may make a different decision in 2013.

“We didn’t plan to lose him,” Toro sporting director Gianluca Petrachi noted. “We’ll assess the situation again in June.

“If a top club did come close to him then we wouldn’t clip his wings.”

The 24-year-old is a product of the Torino youth system who has been linked with Milan, Napoli and city rivals Juventus in the past.
