Inter’s Rodrigo Palacio is convinced that he will return to former club Boca Juniors before he hangs up his boots.

The 30-year-old only joined the Nerazzurri from Genoa this summer, but is already thinking of his career post San Siro.

“I know that I will return to Boca sooner or later,” the forward noted. “However, I have never yet been close to one even if I can understand why the links are there…”

The South American has really progressed as a player in recent years and he’s back in the plans of the Argentine national side.

“I’m happy with the new project and I want to play in a World Cup,” continued the former Huracan and Banfield attacker.

Palacio earned a move to the Stadio Meazza in the summer after scoring 19 goals in 32 Serie A games last term.
